New Kannada Movies. Raj.Pramanik (Puneeth) About 20-year-old Pramanik lives with his parents in a village but wants to become an actor. He goes to the city with the hope of succeeding as an actor there. In the city Pramanik meets a woman named Shruti who is employed as a call girl. The two fall in love but Shruti is in love with someone else. Pramanik decides to go back to the village. He tells Shruti about the “contract” he has signed with the village elders and proposes to her. Her father agrees on the condition that Pramanik earns money, marries Shruti, and returns to the village on his own. Pramanik learns that Shruti’s ex-boyfriend is a drunkard and the village men are afraid that he will attempt to enter into a relationship with Shruti again. Pramanik takes to his entrepreneurial mind, starts making and selling spicy pickles. With the proceeds from the pickle business he buys a house in the village. On the way he meets another man, Kamal who has dreams of becoming a famous singer. Both men become rivals. Pramanik eventually gets out of the village and later falls in love with Kamal’s sister Shruthi. Pramanik with Kamal’s help goes to the village and succeeds in winning the heart of Shruti. Along with Jankusha, Kamal and Shruthi, Pramanik leaves the city and returns to the village. Shruti is unhappy with Pramanik but her parents, who are in love with him, persuade her to marry Pramanik. The whole story is about the transformation of one mind and character.
