Ana Julia Gómez
General coordination
Born in Argentina. From the humid pampas, she is educator and
strategic communicator passionate about conservation and inclusive development in a healthy environment. She has extensive experience in implementing initiatives for conservation and sustainability. She’s been responsible for education and public use areas in various
protected areas. She was Regional Vice-chair for Mesoamerica and South America of the IUCN Commission on Education and
Communication (CEC) (2015-2019) and is member of the COM
#MujeresEnConservación LAC team. Teacher. Consultant
Pâmella Nogueira
Responsible Ambassadors and Alliances
Born in Brazil. Independent socio-environmental consultant for management and governance projects of protected and conserved areas. She offers courses and content on environmental leadership from his company Enraíze! @enraize.co. Environmental Scientist by training and Master in Management of Protected Areas in the Amazon.
Founder of the Association of Environmental Scientists of Brazil (AMB).

Born in Lima, Peru. She is developing Environmental Management projects and forging Environmental Education regarding Ecosystem Conservation. She seeks to positively impact the environment, confirming interest and commitment to what happens around her by
supporting projects. She is a Managing Member of Rellac Jóvenes and belongs to Young Professionals of WCPA-IUCN.

Born in Huacho City, Peru. Passionate about scientific research focused on the application of geomatics applied to the study of ecosystems, and management of natural protected areas. Founding member of the Wetland Guardians Network and Young Professionals of
WCPA-IUCN.
Veronica Mendieta Siordia

Born in Mexico. Independent consultant for conservation projects of protected areas and coastal-marine ecosystems. Her areas of
expertise are climate change adaptation and gender equality. She has experience in coordinating collaborative networks and facilitating
participatory processes. She is a member of Sustainable Ocean Alliance (SOA) Mexico and the Protected Areas Climate Change
Specialist Group (PACCSS) of WCPA-IUCN.
