Call for Seed Ambassadors 2025: With the Strength of the Territory

Join the Celebration’s Network of Ambassadors!

Latin America and the Caribbean boast invaluable natural and cultural wealth, but they also face enormous challenges that can only be tackled through collaboration. Local communities, Indigenous peoples, women, and youth are essential for the conservation of these territories, yet they often lack the necessary opportunities to lead and strengthen their actions in favor of natural and cultural heritage.

In 2025, The Celebration of Protected and Conserved Areas LAC will continue promoting an annual integration process that fosters local leadership, strengthens capacities, and highlights the key role of guardians, park rangers, and community managers in protecting these territories.

Our initiative is supported by leading institutions such as FAO, IUCN, CMAP-IUCN, and SERNANP, and it has the backing of the Fundación Bosques Nativos Argentinos, an IUCN member since 2024. We work under the principles of collaboration, equity, win-win partnerships, and conservation for well-being, ensuring that no one is left behind in this mission.
